After Hours Care – Access via Ka Ora
Our General Practice hours are from Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 6pm. When our General Practice is closed, Clutha Health First uses Ka Ora to provide clinical triage and non-urgent remote medical care after‑hours.
To access clinical triage and Ka ora either:
- Call us on 419 0500 and follow the prompts to speak to the on call Doctor, or
- Contact Ka Ora on 0800 2520672 or
- Book an online appointment at https://kaora.co.nz/app/
Ka Ora clinicians will assess your symptoms, provide medical advice, and arrange appropriate care as clinically indicated. This may include:
- The offer of a telehealth consultation with a qualified clinician provided by Ka Ora; or
- Treatment advice and prescriptions where appropriate; or
- Referral for in‑person assessment with one of our onsite staff, if clinically required.
This service is available from 6pm and overnight, at weekends and on public holidays.
Please do not arrive at Clutha Health First after hours without calling Ka Ora first. We do not have a Doctor onsite between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
